Our Blogging Guidelines
As part of our Culture Unit we investigated how we could make Australian and Samoan cultures feel welcome in our school. After some exploring and investigating we decided to complete some art work that is special to these countries.
We looked at the Aboriginal Dot paintings and painted pictures of Australian Icons.
Samoan art looks at traditional gemoetric designs and symbols that tells stories about their environment. We practised the geometric designs and then published them making them into our own Saipo cloths and then laminating them to put them out in the garden.
